Faith Outreach was born out of love and zeal for God by founding Pastors Paul and Trudy Ayappa. While working with Trudy's brother, Pastor Joe Grant, as Assistant Pastors at Lord of the Harvest Christian Center, God spoke to Paul and Trudy, revealing His vision of what was to become Faith Outreach Christian Center.
The first service took place in May of 1997 in a banquet room at a small motel in Springfield, Illinois. The following year, God opened the doors for Faith Outreach to purchase a building, a laundry mat at the time, in Sherman. Faith Outreach called this location home for many years. During this time the church grew and a larger facility became a need. In December of 2015, Faith Outreach was able to purchase it's current building.
