FAITH OUTREACH'S VISION

Our vision is in the name of our church - Faith Outreach.  We want to be a church where people are consistently growing in their faith while we, as individuals and as a church, are reaching out to those in need of the Gospel and life's basic necessities.  

Faith - We want our church to be a place where people learn about God through understanding His love.  We want to encourage you to walk in that love and worship God through each step you take in life.  By teaching biblical principles and showing Christ's unfailing love, we hope Faith Outreach is a place you experience God in new ways.   

Outreach - Outreach is in the DNA at Faith Outreach.  We desire to take the Gospel outside of the walls of the church and bring hope to people that are hurting.  Jesus spent most of his time outside of the synagogue helping and caring for the hurting people.  Through the years, Faith Outreach teams have volunteered their time and resources to showing God's love to the streets of Springfield, Peoria, East St. Louis, Nashville, and New York.  

Through these outreach events, we have seen God transform lives.  We met a desperate mother in Nashville who was on the verge of suicide.  The stress of life was too overwhelming, and she felt she had no other choice.  God allowed us to not only tell her of His love but shower her with it.  That night, she gave her heart to the Lord and her life was changed.  

Faith Outreach's Mission

In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus said to His disciples, Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

These words are the mission of Faith Outreach - to go, teach people, and show them His love.
